Setting the System Options and Document Properties
So that we can save time when drawing with SolidWorks, we can define System Options and Document Properties before we start drawing.
We can set options for all the images that we make.
Options System Options are stored in the registry of the computer.
System Options are not part of the document.
Changes in System Options will have an effect on all the all the systems both current and future.
ANSI or ISO Dimension Standard, and other Units are set in Document Properties
ANSI or ISO Standard Dimensions, Units and Properties are set out in Document Properties.
Steps we need to do to set options for the image:
Click Tools> Options> System Options> Miscellaneous.
Then choose what we want to set and then click OK.
Reset All option is to restore all systems, not only on the current page as well for the system default.
Eliminate duplicate model of dimensions on the insert
When we choose the default, duplicates are not inserted into the dimensions of the image when the dimensions of the model included.
Mark all part / assembly dimension for import into drawings by default.
Regulate every dimension that we put into the model as Mark For Drawing.
These dimensions include the dimensions of the model when we enter into the picture.
Automatically scale new drawing views.
Display new images adapted to the size of the drawing sheet, regardless of the selected paper size.
