planar surfaces
In Solidworks we can make the planar surfaces of several alternatives including a sketch of non-intersecting closed, A closed set of edges, some co-planar parting lines, curves or edges.
Planar Surface It greatly helps us in doing 3D modeling
Steps we need to do in create a planar Surface is:
Click on a Planar Surface Surfaces toolbar, or click Insert> Surface> Planar.
In PropertyManager, select a set of closed edges in the part. All edges in the set should be in the same plane, the same plane.
Click OK.
If we're going to edit the planar surfaces:
If the planar surface created from a sketch, we can edit the sketch.
If the planar surface is made of a set of closed edges, right click and select Surface> Edit Feature.
Then do the area to be edited.
