Solidwork: make Arcs


We can create an arc by specifying three points (start, end, and midpoint).

To make a 3 point arc:
1. Click the 3 Point Arc on the Sketch toolbar, or click Tools, Sketch Entity, 3 Point Arc.
Arc appears PropertyManager
PropertyManager control sketch Centerpoint Arc Arc, Tangent Arc, or 3 Point Arc.

Add Relations
We can add the selected entities relationships.

Options
For construction. Change the entities for the construction geometry.

Parameters
We can determine the appropriate combination of the following parameters to determine the arc / arcs.
If we change one or more parameters, other parameters are updated automatically.

Center X Coordinate: X Coordinate Center
Center Y Coordinate: Center Y Coordinate
Start X Coordinate: Start dr X Coordinates
Start Y Coordinate: Start mister Y Coordinates
End X Coordinate: End Coordinates X
End Y Coordinate: End Coordinates Y
Radius, Angle.



2. Click where you want the arc to start.
3. Drag to where you want to bow to end.
4. Remove the pointer.
5. Drag the arc to set the radius and to reverse the arc, if necessary.
6. Remove the pointer.
7. Make necessary changes in the PropertyManager
and click OK.
