Learn to make a chair with SOLIDWORKS 2008
Steps we have to do is:
1 Create a New Part Document.
2 Click New on the Standard toolbar.
New SolidWorks Document dialog box will appear.
3 Select the Part icon.
4 Click OK.
A new part document window appears.
5 Click the top view
6 Click Rectangle on the Sketch Tools toolbar.
7 Click to begin sketching a rectangle from the origin.
8 Move the pointer up and to the right, to make a rectangle.
9 Click the mouse button again to complete the rectangle.
10 Click on the Sketch Relations toolbar Dimensions. Pointer changes shape.
11 Click the top row of the rectangle.
12 Click the location of dimension text above the top line.
Modify dialog box is displayed.
13 Enter 380. Click or press Enter.
14 Click the right edge of the rectangle.
15 Click the dimension text location. Enter 420.
16 Click the left edge of the rectangle.
17 Click the location of dimension text. Enter 330.
18 Create a center line
19 Add relations
Exit the sketch.
