create embossed text with use Autocad Sketch
In making design 3d, autocad very helpful in accelerating the design.
With a high accuracy in AutoCAD can insert into Solidwork and Unigraphics.
Here we will learn a simple how to emboss text on the bottom.
The first step we have to do, draw a sketch first in autocad, and specify the position sketch in the position of origin (x, y)
When finished save with the extension exe.
Only then we open the program solidwork, determine the plane to place the position in solidwork autocad sketch.
From the menu select Insert> DXF / DWG> select the file that we will use autocad for solidwork design.
Do not forget a file of type, select the DWG files.
Click Open, next> next> finish.
Sketch autocad will appear at the bottom solidwork design.
From solidwork menu, click Insert> Boss / Base> Extrude
Select autocad contour sketch, select the Extrude bind with a given thickness of the embossing.
