SolidWORK: Making Planes

 Here we will discuss about what the plane, should the initial design, we must first understand what the plane,


because the plane was very helpful and easier for us in 3D design.

We can create designs Planes in part / parts or assembly / assembly.

We can use the Planes to sketch, to create the appearance of the model, for Planes neutral in draft features, and so forth.

We can preselect an item before we click on Plane.

If we preselect items, SolidWorks Planes trying to select the appropriate type. We can always choose different types of Planes.

We can right-click the chart area and select the type of Planes from the shortcut menu. If we choose the entity that is enough to make Planes, OK pointer appears. Right click to create Planes.


To make construction Planes:

Click Plane on the Reference Geometry toolbar,

or click Insert, Reference Geometry, Plane.

PropertyManager Plane appears.

In the selection, select the type of Planes that we want to create and the items to make the Planes:

Through Lines / Points.

Make Planes through the edge, axis, or sketch lines, and point, or through the three points.



To create a plane with three points.

Parallel Plane at Point. Make Planes through parallel points to a Planes.



To create a plane with a planar face or faces.

Choose a center point.

New planes parallel to the selected face through the midpoint of the chosen.





To create a plane with the angle.

Make Planes through the edge, axis, or sketch a line in the corner with face or Planes.

Select Planes or planar face, and then select the edge, axis, or line sketches.

Enter the angle between the Planes in the Angle box.

Select Reverse direction checkbox, if necessary.



To create a plane with the Offset Distance.

Planes parallel to Make Planes or face, offset by a certain distance. This is the default Planes made.

Choose Planes or planar face.

Enter the offset distance in the Distance box.

Select Reverse direction checkbox, if necessary.

To make some Planes offset the same distance from a chosen field, enter the number in the dialog box Number of Planes Planes.
